The Next Chapter: Chile, Patagonia, and Beyond
Yeah, I am REALLY behind on my blog updates. I apologize for that to all of you who actually read it, and to myself for being lazy. Or rather, having too much fun to want to sit in front of a computer for so long typing all my adventures out. But, I know the importance so I will try once again to be a better blogger. However, due to the long list of days that I need to catch up on, I will write some of these in more of a bullet format....
-Woke up and went into town for food
-Finally found a cheap nice place and I ate a Chilean soup seafood dish called ´Pila Marina´ that had a bunch of different fish and seafood in a broth. A differnent sort of taste but it was yummy.
-After our awesome lunch we went on an epic search for churros! We finally found some by the beach and they sure do them differently than the one´s my sister Missy would bring home from Taco Bell. These were dripping with awesome chocolatey sauce goodness with SPRINKLES (mmm, my fave!) and also some with powdered sugar and some with manjar.
-Siesta time followed this meal, of course. How could it not!
-Later went out to meet some friends at a Sunset Bar overlooking the ocean and beach. Such a pretty view of the sun going down....
-After it was dark and getting cooler we went into Vina looking for cheap drinks. No good bar was found close but we eventually found somewhere with food and drinks where we all shared a chorrillana and Felipe and I had Long Island ice teas
-We were all still hungry so we then went out for some Chinese food. haha (yeah, eating is a big part of the culture here!)
-Back to ConCon and fell asleep early because we had to wake up early the next day to clean and head to a different beach city for Christmas celebrations!
