So from where I left off last time... I had to get a flight from Singapore to Phuket. This was booked with Silk Airways. the scenery may have been beautiful but I have to say it was the worst flight ever! There was absolutly no service and the pilot was shcoking at landing the plane. If I paid budget I would not have had a problem... but anywho... I met my driver who drove me all the way to Bangkok which took 10 hours. I was so grateful for the help from Josef and his family who had helped to organise for me to get to bangkok on time! I arrived at 1;30 am on the Saturday.

In the morning I woke at 7am and had a wonderful breakfast that was prepared by the family. Stefanie and her boyfriend took me to see The Grand Palace which was absolutely magnificent. Right next door was the place where the princess lay to rest. It took 6 months to build and she was cremated there. The ashes have been spread over the sea. This weekend was the last weekend before they knock it down asit is bad luck to keep it up. We didn't go inside as the line was way too long and the area was extremely crowded. I even had to use the umbrella, thats howintense the sun was.

We caught a Tuk TUk to the MBK centre which is a famous shopping centre where Stef helped me bargain down some items! Gotta love the fakes!

Afterwards, we met up with the rest of the family for some Thai food which delicious, nothing can compare to what we have back home, and I think Iwill always need to have spices added.
