On the 9th May we headed off on the train to Osaka.  We were undecided whether to go to Nara for the day or head off to Universal Studio's.  The train we caught took us to Universal so we dumped our bags in lockers and headed off for a day of rides   We did Back to the future, Backdraft, Spiderman twice, ET, Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park three times.  We had a ball - especially as the rides where all in Japanese!!  Jacqui went to Universal in Florida in 2000 so she loved getting on the Spiderman ride as she missed out last time - Bev and Mark - I agree it was an excellent ride.  But Jurassic park brought back so many memories for her - her brother in law's face at the 80 foot drop was amaxing.  Neen's face matched it nearly!!!  We headed off to a restaurant which served lots of food on sticks and sat there drinking beer and ordering more food.

The rooms where basic - but clean and comfortable but they offered free internet - these big hotels should take note!
