This morning we woke up quite early as we decided to have an early start to the day! We had croissants and some brioche for breakfast (which we didn't enjoy!) we had to as we needed to save money as the breakfast buffet costs €12!
We went to Leopold museum and it was nicely designed so we were able to enjoy it more. It was an art museum so Jacob wasn't that keen but I think he did enjoy some part of the exhibitions that was held at the museum!
There was an exhibition that really caught my eye, it held some portraits of the children that were taken to Auschwitz camp and it held few stories.
I was very glad we went to this museum! We then went outside and sat down to have our sandwiches.
We decided to go to the butterfly house where we were able to see some pretty butterflies! It was so hard to capture a good photograph of one! Jacob managed to get one or two. But I wouldn't recommend going there and it is definitely not worth the money.
I was desperate for tea so we found Starbucks and I got myself a cup of tea so I was a very happy girl! First proper tea since a day before Amsterdam.
We looked around more, saw some gorgeous buildings and statues. We went to a different route and found a huge water foundation with some lovely pillars and statues. We sat down for a while and enjoyed the view we had.
We had our dinner at TGI Fridays, had original beef burger and Jacob decided to have an ultimate beef burger (two beef burgers in one bun!!) I ate rather quickly so that I was feeling uncomfortable afterwards. Going to eat slower next time.
To our luck we found another gorgeous building as we walked back to the underground via a different route. Vienna has lots of buildings and statues with bits of gold which made everything looks prettier. We also walked past a big pond (without fishes and plants etc) that had a piano in middle of it. Yes in middle of the lake!
We have enjoyed visiting Vienna and now we need to pack for our departure tomorrow!
