What a stressful few days it has been! The day after Seattle (friday) Laura and i thought it would be a good idea to take the car for a test drive on a mini trip to make sure everything would be ok on our long road trips. We have had a very busy day in the Vancouver sunshine today which consisted of two big events. Picking up our car and Going to the Vancouver Canucks Ice hockey game. Picking up the car was fairly straight forward but a lengthy process with getting insurance sorted etc. Then when we finaly drove it off we went to Walmart to get that essential bit of kit...a satnav. Drivinf 40mins back to the apartment was quite scarey at first but we soon got the hang of driving...

Today we have had a very chilled out day ready for picking up our lovely ford escape tomorrow and watching the mighty vancouver canucks play in the evening. Today in Cancouver it was very rainy. This set the tone for our search for a car. Breakfast at IHOP was by far the highlight, i had wopping size meal with a side of pancakes. Yesterday, Denny's, IHOP today and hopefully i can persuade Laura to a Wendy's tomorrow.. We went to a garage that was far outside of Cancouver reachable by 30minute skytrain and a 10 minute taxi.
