Since we have less than a month remaining and are still planning on going to Cuba, we decided that we could not realistically spend a long time in each place we visit. However our new self imposed rule didn`t last long when we got to Bocas and found to our delight that every evening comences with very cheap drinks during happy hour at our hostel. Clearly no-one has yet to realise that selling beer at 25p a bottle to tourists causes a few problems later on in the night, especially when the place is by the sea. Most of the bars here have platforms over the sea, which inevitably fills with drunks later on. Fun maybe but it`s just a pain waking up and realising all your clothes are drenched every morning.

We did do a few other interesting things here such as snorkeling and seeing dolphins but our favourite daytime activity turned out to be sitting on beaches and drinking white russians. It really is a perfect drink for this climate, cold and refreshing, and of course it is healthy due to the milk.

Five days spent here and only two paragraphs of details of our time here (there could be more details off the record though); we really shouldn`t do this again though we probably will.
