Seeming as though complaining about long, uncomfortable bus journeys is almost as boring to read about than the journey itself, I can happily say that my 20 hour bus from Salta was so comfortable that I probably had my best sleep so far this holiday on it. Although I had never expected to go to Argentina, a chain of events during carnival made me change my plan to visit the salt lakes in Bolivia and go further south instead.
