Jackie's Big Adventure
About Jackie
Everyone comes here not to see the sleepy, tumbleweed town but the mighty Iguazu Falls. They are indeed mighty. They are breathtaking. The Falls are a national park with many waterfalls but the crowning glory goes to the Devils Throat. You get here by walking along a broadwalk, passing cormorants, turtles, butterflies and previous walkways …

Not long now. I am in my final destination - Rio. Well I am actually staying in Copacabana which is on the beach. It is beautiful. The sun is shining and the sea is refreshing. I am incredibly happy. It is going to be hard to leave this place. Though still looking forward to seeing friends and family. Missed you all a lot.
Love Jackie
PS Hope you like the new profile picture - me and bangers and mash on my birthday. You can take a girl out of the North but not the Nort…

Lucy Hi Jackie Great blog entry. Sounds fab. Brings back all the memories for me and Jon. We did the full 60k cycle tour round Bariloche. Was beautiful. Not quite as cold as your weather now though, even though it was chilly. We spent Christmas there and I bought myself a whole box of chocolates from one of the boutique shops, and ate it for Christmas day breakfast! We also walked up the Cerro Otto and sat in the revolving restaurant. 2 little stray dogs followed us all the way up and I became quite attached to them. Then someone else gave them some food and they dumped us. I was properly offended! We too ate in el Boliche. Isn't it true that steak in Argentina just tastes so completely different to anything we know? Thinking of you and hope you enjoy the rest of your trip. Love Lucy x
