So since my last blogs, I haven't had enough things to write about each day. I'm going to write a quick summary instead! I have been sleeping better due to the evenings becoming a few degrees cooler thanks to some impressive storms we often have in the afternoons. I have skipped a few entries due to then being so boring there not worth one. Today was Ian birthday, and for the first time we over slept, my alarm didn't go off, I checked and it just didn't work. Although this was a genuine problem wasn't worth using as an excuse, the oldest one in the book. Felt a bit guilty, but soon got over that when we were issued our jobs. Today was town day. Tom and I followed Ian around the local Market whilst he was haggling prices. Made me laugh as he was always putting a handful more produce on his already weighed pile much to the annoyance of the farmer. We tried what looked like flapjack, but turned out to be peanuts musher into paste then 10tonnes of sugar added, I rather liked them. Brought a bottle if Amaurola for new years as it was considerably cheaper than Pj and Ians at "cost price"....

Today we were both exhausted after yesterdays efforts. Today was a welcome surprise, we were still working, but down on the beach. Occasionally dishing out a beer, or a 2 second hotdog. Christmas day!!! Even at 22 Christmas excites me, although not for same reasons as it used to. No sooty footprints in the hath, no bite out of the mince pie or indeed a gulp taken from the glass of cherry brandy left for Santa. Instead, it's a time to catch up with all the family, hear their tales from the previous year and predictions/plans for the next.
