Although it was a short stay in Miami, it was great. After a very brief stopover in Dallas airport we got to Miami in the afternoon and got a taxi to our hostel. Our hostel was two blocks from Miami, provided free breakfast, lunch and dinner. The first day we just walked around the main streets looking at the beach and the stores, we saw Miami Ink but it was closed. That night we had some drinks and played some pool at the hostel and got to meet the other guests staying at the hostel and then we went to a night club 'Mansion'. The club was pretty good and we only had to pay $5 entry because we went with a group from the hostel. The next day we went down to the beach and met up with a few people from the hostel, we spent most of the day down at the beach. The water was so warm, at first you think it is nice but after a little while you start to wish it was a bit cooler, the beach was packed. Later that day we went out to the Miami Heat home stadium to watch the Alonzo Mourning and Dwayne Wade charity game where we got to see players like Chris Paul (Hornets), Caron Butler (Wizards), Rodger Mason Jr (Spurs), Tim Hardaway (Retired) and a lot of the younger Heat players. It was good to go to watch but no one really cared and no one played defence which was kind of annoying, the final score was about 160 -145. Before leaving Miami we did another quick wander around the streets and headed to the car rental place to get our Mustang....
