Deborah Well I have never wanted to go to India, never thought of going to India and its not the first time I have heard it described in this way, but pretty much confirms I will probably never go to India.., even if its got the Taj Mahal, seen it on tv, internet and books...that'll do me enjoy the rest of the trip..xxx

re: Koh Phi Phi, ThailandDeborah Yeah i remember the toilets in Japan...In the hotel it was lovely but outside of that....a nightmare on Elm Street....u will find similar or maybe worse in Malacca...now that was truly horrible....Well hoefully the vindaloo doesnt send you scurrying to the Indian loos because I dont think it would be any better there.. Love the blogs..or was the bogs..lol Hope the ride was worth the wait.

re: Cairo, EgyptDeborah The Boer War and Zulu sites would be right up Chris's alley, That is on the top of his bucket list. Cant tell you how many times I have endured Zulu the movie and he has read every book on the subject and we even have a picture of Rorkes Drift on our lounge wall. He would be so jealous...Good luck with your wicked van...I hope it takes care of you....I would have been sh..ing myself sleeping in it overnight...what an awesome adventure though....xx

re: Johannesburg, South AfricaBrooke Ok now that you have left Cuszco I can tell you... the airport (at least when we were there) does not have a control tower so the planes land and take off according to sight and a little bit of radio talk. I was glad I was told AFTER my flight :) Glad you enjoyed the city too :)

He has a large estate outside of Essex and enjoys foxing with the hounds long weekends mixing with the London society.
