Melbourne, great beaches, great nightlife, just to many Brits for our liking so we blew that joint and went to Perth instead. It was further than London is from Moscow but what the hell we got to see some amazing stuff on the way. Finally got to Perth last night after the final leg of a LONG LONG journey down a seemingly never ending road. No fan fare or celebratory pat on the back when you get to the end of these roads that go one way for 2000 miles just a normal boring road sign- well worth the journey :) On the plus side though, Perth looks like a really nice city which is a plus since it is to be our home for the next few months whilst we work. Ok so this pic is of hong kong but its all i could find. I am writing this postcard while still in KL so things could change. Impressive city, and an amazing view from the top of the menara Kuala Lumpur - tower on the far right of the photo. However it is a sad fact, and a sad reflection on ourselves, that the crunch came when it came to how cheaply and how easily can we get pissed here - the answer being we cant...for the moment anyway...jeeze, back to sightseeing.
