Hi all
We have made it to Lennox Head, which is just between Ballina and Bryon Bay.
Lennox Head is known as one of the best surf beaches in Australia, so being the keen surfers (from country Windsor ) that we are, we decided to get hit the waves with the aid of some lessons. Dad said he didn't need lessons, and that they would be a waste of time. Seeing how good (not) he was, he was right. Again, being left handed has come back to haunt him as he was given a right handed board! Can't wait until we visit left handed world.
Hunter and Cooper were great. Dave (our teacher - he was excellent but have to meet to believe) said Hunter was a natural surfer and the next world champion. From the first wave, his was easily catching and standing up on waves and finished the day being able to play the guitar or drums whilst surfing.
Highlights
Hunter - Surfing
Cooper - Surfing
Bec - watching the boys surfing and them giving it to Dad
Me - winning meat tray(s!) at the local raffles
Next Stop
Local surf shop to buy a surf board (according to the boys)
