Day 8....Beautiful Santorini!! Woke up this morning at 6 after our very late night. We were just arriving in Santorini where we would anchor for the first time rather than dock. Day 7....The ancient city of Ephesus.... Woke up this morning just as we were coming in to dock at Kusadasi in Turkey. Lovely views as we came in and it is a lovely town, a seaside resort town, very popular with the Turkish for their holidays. We had company again this morning, as another cruise ship- Regent Seven Seas, was docked beside us. Day 6...... Mykonos!!!!! Woke up this morning to see that we were just arriving in Mykonos...white buildings everywhere scattered all over the hill sides. We arrived in port about 6.30am. Lots of yachts also in the port including a couple of huge ones. And there was also another cruise ship in port - Costa Mediterranea, which would make for a busy day on shore. Day 5 of the cruise....Athens Had a very restless night last night and woke up this morning with the same pounding headache. We had decided earlier that we may not go into Athens as we have seen the Parthenon and Acropolis etc before. We arrived into Athens at 7am. But we slept in and didn't even bother with breakfast, apart from a cup of tea. By about 1.30 I was starting to feel a bit better so went to the buffet for some lunch. Day 4 of cruise.....at sea!!! Today was the first day for us at sea all day. Nice to have a quiet relaxing day! Slept in and then went off to lunch in the Cuvée restaurant.... 3 course sit down rather than the upstairs buffet.
