Day 3 of the Cruise.....beautiful Valletta!!!

Still cruising this morning when we woke up. I had arranged the wifi package last night so uploaded some photos and tried to use iMessage, which worked eventually. Facebook was working at times too but the wifi can be a bit dodgy sometimes, depends on where you are I suppose.

We arrived in Valletta about 1pm. Just gorgeous with old sandstone buildings beside the blue water. And very clean everywhere. We went for a wander around the streets, just weaving our way in and out. Only the Main Street was busy, otherwise you pretty much had the place to ourselves. Lots of historical statues and plaques around the town. Had a great day and would like to see more of Malta sometime.

Back on board in time for dinner, which once again was delicious. Our drinks waiter Sidney is always ready for us with our favourite wine and a laugh. As is Gedye with his suggestions for tonight's menu! And Alina always knows just when to arrive with the coffee (long black and macchiato) at the end!! They are a so great and lots of fun.

After dinner we went off to the Sky lounge where they were having a British music night with music from the 60's, 70's and 80's and danced away for a few hours. Had a ball until about 12.30 when they suddenly changed the music to some techno stuff and the atmosphere all changed.... Everyone left the dance floor and the place filled up with the younger kids but still none danced, just stood around with their drinks. A pity as all us older ones (40's and 50's) would have stayed dancing otherwise. So we decided to call it a night!
