After lying in longer than planned we eventually got up and headed out to rent our bicycles for twenty thousand dong next door to our guesthouse. The bed last night was more like a paving slab but we both slept well. I decided to go on a little mission around the nearby hotels to see if I could get us a better deal on a room while I didn't have my heavy bag on my back. This morning we decided to make for Hoi An but not before we made the long walk back over the river to town to enjoy another western breakfast at the Bread of Life complete with backpacks. The place was busy as usual and we did not hesitate on ordering a huge pancake breakfast each and a pot of tea. The pancakes, as usual, were amazing and always reminds you how you miss western food sometimes... Although also reminded us how unaccustomed we are now to the richn...

We enjoyed our breakfast at our usual restaurant with huge helpings of rice and vegetables which definitely bloated us out. We spent the morning as we had yesterday, haggling for a sun lounger and enjoying the quiet beach and warm, blue sea. Today was equally as hot and pretty brutal but we enjoyed it all the same. We saw another western couple and smiled at them before playing in the sea and lying in the sun listening to music. That's something I really miss....

We woke to a glorious sun soaked morning with one intention only...... to spend all day at the beach.
