First day in Bangkok we had planed only to buy a ticket to the Chiang Mai. After that we have walked to see couple of temples and home. We have walked trough the china town than we have seen the giant swing, big Buddha and a monument of democracy. You may already know that people are on strike here, of course we were lucky to live in the middle of this area ;) The atmosphere around is pretty much quiet although it is very busy, people are dressed in red and leaders are making speech as we go along, also this area is closed so there is no traffic just too many people dressed in red :). Second day. We have seen couple of temples. Well it's quite hard to describe these temples they are very much impressive ( one note about Thai people , for some unknown reason they have kept sending us and telling us what wasn't truth, like the palace was closed, then the entrance completely opposite site, so just trust yourself and do not believe them ). Firstly the main one the Grand Palace, then the reclining Buddha ( 15m high and 46m long ). Then we walked to the Wat ….... it was quite a walk, especially after we got there, there was a boat going across the river for 3 bloody bath, but who could know ;-) , later that day we had a beer and then a bed as we're going to wake up very early around 6 o'clock as we're going to visit the Floating market one of the few things worth visit around Bangkok. We got back around 13 o'clock a then went for Thai lunch. After lunch we had 5 hours gap between now and the train to Chiang mai, so we sneaked back to our hostel drink some beer and waited for the time to be around 17 o'clock, so we can go to station. We are going to get tuc tuc as it is about 3 km and with all the bags it would take us a long time, we walked to the main road where most of the tuc tuc passes by. One stopped, but he asked for 100 bath, I have sent him away as the price should no more than 50 bath. After next few minutes another one was passing by we stopped him and he took 50 bath and was happy for them. Right now we are on the train, it is quite comfy, we have upper beds and most of the guys in the train are indeed westerners. Tomorrow we shall find and book our jungle trekking experience and most likely rent bike for next day to cruise around the city. Prvy den v Bangkoku sme mali naplanovane iba kupit si listok na sever do Chiang Mai a potom sme isli pozriet par chramov a do hotela. Cestou nas zastavilo par 'az moc ochotnych' ludi a vysvetlovali nam co si mame ist pozriet v Bangkoku. Cestou domov me isli okolo monumetu demokracie, kde bolo deno z miest kde sa akurat strajkuje. V tejto casi boli zatvorene cesty , vsetko ohradene a strazene ludmi v cervenych trickach. Druhy den sme sa boli pozriet do najvatsich chamov.
