One city is very much like any other so we decided to get on a ferry to visit Waiheke Island off Auckland. Was the haunt of hippies in the 70's now you have to pay £500k for a plot of land! Beautiful place, loads of vineyards! Back to Auckland and up the Sky Tower for a dinner looking out over the city.

Hello all, A short note to let you know that we arrived on time in Auckland. We hope to spend today looking around the city and adjusting to the time difference! We are lucky to have a nice sunny day forecast so we should get some good photos. Love Linda and Ian.
