So I took David to Canada for his birthday to see Niagara Falls. We are staying at the Mariott with an amazing view of the American and Horseshoe Falls. I was surprised to see how easy it was to drive here from Buffalo, New York, and how much there is to do in Ontario. They have a bunch of attractions and fun houses. It's great that they accept US dollars here BUT, it is CRAZY expensive in some places. We went to Friday's and I ordered the fried shrimp and David had a burger. It came out to $50 bucks!!!!! Yea, so we restricted ourselves to one souvenier. The falls were beautiful. Standing next to it you get wet, even though you are above it. The Maid of the Mist was a lot of fun because they take you right into the horseshoe fall! David had to keep lifting me up because I'm shorter than everyone =(. It was only a one day trip but it was fun nonetheless. Just remember, if you go on the Maid of the Mist, wear sandals and shorts, because the bottom half of you WILL get wet.
