Okay so I can't remember what I wrote yesterday so I might repeat things. So Amsterdam is strange. Just like in NY you will get hit by cabs, here you'll get hit by bikes, lol. There are so many bikes everywhere and people actually dump them into the river when they break, once a year they have to remove bikes from the river, very interesting. Last night I was walking around the Red Light District and.... let's just say....WEIRD! There are literally woman standing in these boths/rooms, wearing practically nothing, and just standing at the window waiting for customers. They pretend to be cleaning, doing makeup, just...waiting. I don't know, it was weird. We took a free 3 hour walk tour of Amsterdam, and our tour guide told us that these women rent these rooms 8 hours at a time and are just women trying to make money, same story for hookers I guess, right? Umm, what else? Oh, we stopped by this coffee shop where they shot a scene from Ocean's Twelve, so that was pretty cool. It was very nice inside. Oh, and for all the crap people talk about Miami, I'm going here thinking the nightlife is crazy and all night long, WRONG! Everything closes by midnight or 1am, what is that!? So we all just went back to the hostel and played pool and just talked. We were hanging out with some people from the hostels. Ian and Tom, these two guys from Ireland. Then there was Nick, a guy from England. We all had a good time. Today is laundry day and probably the Rembrant Museum and maybe a walk to the park. Tomorrow is PARIS! Oh, and it's extremely cold over here, so I really hope it's not like this for the rest of my trip. But at least there are garbage cans everywhere here, unlike London. I don't know how London stays so clean with no garbage cans!
