Happy Birthday Iain! Not sure where you are today but hope you are thoroughly enjoying it wherever you are. If you are cycling, then hope your bum is not too sore!

Okay yes it's raining and cold and generally yuk here in Sunderland - just in case you were getting a bit homesick!! Just catching up on, and really enjoying your lovely travel blog - have you considered travel writing as an alternative career? It all looks amazing, interesting and frankly I'm knackered just reading about what you've managed to pack in (oh and a bit jealous too).
Belated 'happy birthday' to Kate - what a treat and love your dress.

A very happy birthday Kate, though we think it is the day after for you now.
had lovely time in a pub in Islington for Jenna's birthday today and enjoyed seeing Joce and Rick too. She is really looking forward to her trip out to meet you.
We've just got back to Lizzie's after seeing Billy Elliot and have one more day to explore London. Unfortunately you will miss the Easter Bike ride but hey ho you cant have it all. lots of Love from Chris and Karenxxxxx

Hi
It is very interesting to read your comments on Christchurch, it sounds so different from when we were there. If it is still open the modern art Gallery just outside the the centre was well worth looking at . enjoy your trip to Dunedin, the albatross centre at the end of the peninsula is well worth a visit , the penguin farm on the north side is interesting. As is the otago settlers museum or some similar name near the fabulous railway station in Dunedin
We are enjoying your blog nerarly as much as you seem to be enjoying the wine
