We are just back from our short sojourn through the Bolaven Plateau and boy is my arse sore. Six hundred odd k's on a moto in four days taking in Tad Lo, Salavan, Sekong, Attapeu and finally Paksong. After a short trip up from Dom Khon to Champasak we have an easy afternoon changing some money and cruising around town. After a ten hour bus ride which passes without incident we arrive in Siem Reap, gateway to the ancient city of Angkor. Greeted by a scrum of eager tuk tuk drivers I'm annoyed to see the bus company locks the gate of the terminal so a select few have first dibs on us unsuspecting travellers.
