Hi Jackie & Jeff
Thank you so much for sending me the link - this all coincides with me purchasing a wonderful new phone so I can, at last, tap into the 21st century! I have just read your last blog on surfing & relationships. What a brilliant article - as we tell the children - paint the picture in words! I also love your photo album - your main collection must be numbered in the thousands by now!! Did you take any videos because I would love to hear your voices as you enjoy your experiences!
I will keep on checking your progress - you guys must have ticked off many items on your bucket list!
Stay safe , happy and well.
Lots of love,
Dave
I will send my news via WhatsApp

You will bring back some phenomenal memories. Just keep enjoying and stay safe. With lots of love to you both from us both xx

Hi Jackie
Glad that you are having such an amazing time.
Fiona forwarded this to me as I forgot to sign up to your blog.
How do I sign up, as I am looking forward to following your travels.
Jackie
Hello Mrs Piper
Thank you for responding to the blog. Rio was interesting - amazing we did a bit too much queuing for attractions. There were very few tourists from Europe. Brazillian is spoken and very few speak English. Our hotel was excellent and money was not a problem.
The whole place just feel fragile and the buildings are not loved. Whereas Buenos Aires is a vibrant city with loads of new buildings and it feels like an international city - here though money touts are on every corner. BA feels safer than Rio. Watching the armed trucks in Rio collecting money from supermarkets was like a military operation.
The music in Rio was varied but pleasant.
In BA the tango music is not as accessible as I imagined. All is good.
Off to Bariloche tomorrow.
