Day 1: 19 Nov 13 - Macau
It was my inaugural time - travelling not only with my family - but with my in-laws, nephews and niece. Quite an experience that I look forward to I must say.
Plane, ferry and bus - it took us almost the whole day from morning to evening before we finally checked in at Macau Sheraton at about 5pm.
It was almost dinner time after we had all checked into our respective rooms. Not wasting any time, we set off to hunt for our dinner venue, almost as soon as after we had all dropped our luggages in our rooms. After roaming around the mall for about half an hour, we finally decided to settle our dinner at the food court. Not a bad choice as the food was cheap and good and also, I think it's wise not to spend extravagantly when it was only at the beginning of the trip.
After dinner, we just walked aimlessly around the vicinity. We walked to the opulent Venetian and shopped around at its mall. Not having any particular stuff to buy per se; we were merely just enjoying the stroll and admiring Macau's proverbial lights that lit up its buildings and streets.
Yes, the holiday has begun. Tomorrow, we will set off to Hong Kong Disneyland. For the kids, that's where the real fun begins. For the adults, we'd have to be extra vigilant while seizing every moment to enjoy our time with them.
