After a lovely night in Geraldton, where we drank some yummy bubbles and mistook the sugar for salt on our pizzas (hmmm!!), we travelled north up the coast to Coral Bay.
We were able to snorkel the Ningaloo Reef from the beach - no need for a boat tour - so it was a very inexpensive couple of days.We even caught a glimpse of our first wild Kangaroo during an evening walk!It was amazing to chill out on the white sandy beach after 3 months of working in the outback.
As our Greyhound out of Coral Bay was very late (didn't arrive until 2:30AM!!) our driver was rushing to get all the bags in the hold, as doing so, cracked his head on the storage bins.Blood was simply everywhere.Luckily Holly was around to save the day and immediately rushed to her first aid kit and managed to bandage up the driver's whole head to stop it bleeding. The bus driver was very thankful. He even offered to give us a guided tour of Perth.Unfortunately we had a plane to catch!
It was goodbye WA and hello tropical Queensland!
