I'm so glad that you had the same feelings as I get each time I visit Beijing. Even after 6? trips there, the sites, sounds and smells have the same affect on me.
I shall look forward to viewing the "FEW" photos you must of taken and comparing notes.
Big move to new office is Mon night. Guess who's on nights then!

Pete you should be used to the temp. It's the same as in the ops office when Shinney is on duty. (that's the air con on full and the hot air he's expelling!)
There's a nice romantic restaurant not far from where you are staying. It has swinging seats by the tables and lots (I mean LOTS) of plants inside, both plastic and real. Quite cheap as well. Menus were in English.
