Day 14 My hostel is a twenty minute walk from the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. There is a straight road directly to the sea. When I get down to the sea I'm surrounded by posh waterside apartments each with their own boat docked outside. I consult the map and know that the Harbour Bridge must be nearby. Day 13 Melbourne to Sydney I say goodbye to all the great girls I met and board my flight to Sydney. One and a quarter hours later I'm in a whole new city. Goodbye Melbourne, hello Sydney.

Day 12 Today we meet up in the city with a girl called Sally from our Melbourne trip. We have coffee and a bit of retail therapy. I try to hold back a little bit on the spending as I can't fit anything else into my backpack and have to get a flight tomorrow to Sydney.

Day 11 Sunday is Market Day at St Kilda Beach. Hundreds of stalls are laid out along the esplanade selling a variety of goods from souvenirs to fish. After a bit of shopping we go to the city's Botanical Gardens to chill out by the lake. Day 10 Today we head for the city. The trams are a little confusing but luckily the Melbourne locals are really friendly and point us in the right direction. We want to go to the Ian Potter Centre which is the National Art Gallery of Victoria Australia. The place is free to get in and houses some of the most impressive Aboriginal works of art in the whole of Australia. I'm really taken back by the paintings that tell the Aboriginal Creation stories.
