Day 51 Thurs 30 Jun 16, Kalgoorlie to Madura 707km, 3 to 17 deg, fine and sunny. The windscreen was iced up this morning, so cool man! We got up early to tackle the first part of the Nullarbor. Although we don't intend to rush our Eastward journey across the Plains, we want to keep the crossing as brief as possible and within our daily kilometre driving limit. Day 49 Tues 28 Jun 16, Perth to Kalgoorlie-Boulder 598km, early morning shower then fine,11 to 18 deg. Woke at 5am to the sound of rain but it didn't last long; it was gone by the time we got up.
