Walker's Travels in Scandinavia 2017 and others
Temp: 24-25 deg C: 33-77% humidity Distance: 446km; total: 2 058km Start time: 8:35am, arrival: 3:30pm After a breakfast of cereal and muesli, we were away a little later than expected. We intended to leave before G&Y and meet for mornos somewhere but we slept in because we had the aircon on all night (it was compulsory) and had a really good night's sleep. We stopped for mornos at Hay beside the Murrumbidgee River, and was home-made. Lunch was at Balranald, also home made. We only stopped here because we decided we should check out the town - there was not much to see. We continued to Mildura we we checked into the same van park that we used on our way home from WA last year - the Calder Tourist Park. We recommended it to Y&G as it is a quiet park, and although on a main route, there is not a lot of traffic noise, which is a real plus. It is also a Top Tourist Park which enables us a 10% discount. We are on site 55, with Y&G on site 54. The route today was not very exciting - more of the same with very lumpy roads. After setting up, Greg had a cuppa whilst Wendy had a snooze. It was then time to take a walk to to Woolies to do a grocery re-sup. Pre-dinner drinks were had at the Fischers and then dinner was lamb chop/steak and veggies. Not a very exciting day. Tomorrow we hope to do a Murray River lunch time cruise.
