Yesterday saw us exploring the spectacular Glasshouse Mountains. A 3 hour bush walk proved challenging as we scrambled and rockhopped to the top to view the surrounding mountains.

Mothers Day saw us camped at Clifton Recreation Park. Nice and quiet and grassy with few neighbours nearby. A visit to the Clifton Railway station proved interesting as there was a special steam train trip to Towoomba today. How delightful to be on the road and driving along the mighty Murray river taking in the flat blonde wheat fields and magestic huge tall river gums. Sheep dot the fields and the occasional vineyard. We are thoroughly enoying just being out the countryside again. Driving through Mulwala we took in the devastion of the mini cyclone here a few weeks ago. Amazing! It appears to be just a narrow corridor alongside the road, but there is still a big cleanup of tree...
