Today I visited a tailor who works in a tiny room approx 6ft x 6ft to see if he would shorten my trousers, He did an excellent job and all for 40p.
This afternoon we visited The Garden of Dreams, it is a very tranquil place compared to the rest of Kathmandu which is just full on.
How we have survived walking the many narrow streets with out getting run over is a miracle, there is no keep left or right it is a free for all for taxis, rickshaws, motorcycles, cycles and people. The noise from car horns is constant while we are out and about, then at night in our room we are kept awake by stray dogs barking and fighting.
