hey all,
sorry about the delay in this blog. but we've finally made it, and due to popular demand (especially from the mothers), so here goes...

From last time, we went to the Floating Markets, they were really cool - lots of mini stalls on gondola style boats! We made it to the airport...just about, due to being stuck in 3 hours of traffic or so! corrr.

so now we're in Australia, Melbourne to be exact. We began in St Kilda, which is by the beach..and home to delicious cake shops - FAR too tempting for our liking. We then moved into the city to a different hostel, and went to Queen Victoria Market, which literally is in our hostels backyard! Lots of souvenir type things, food and clothing here...we held off on spending money though - go us!

We went to Ramsay Street today - oh yes, just like a true tourist. It's a lot smaller than you'd think, and we found out loads of info about the show, including how its all filmed - they only film OUTSIDE of the houses, and very rarely. When they do, they have to film all the outside parts for several episodes in one go - because people do actually live in the houses! We got snappy happy on the street though - so check out those photos.

We plan to do the Great Ocean Road on friday, before getting our first bus to Sydney on saturday (stopping en route at the Wilsons Promontory National Park)....we've had to book up for a few weeks in advance cos we found out buses get booked up too quick (we've ended up having to stay in Melbourne bit longer than we'd hoped because of this...).
