So, on the bus heading towards Byron Bay, with a stopover at Surf Camp. OUR BUS BROKE DOWN. haha oh yes, something just had to happen didn't it. Luckily we didn't have to wait too long for them to send out a Coach to pick us up, and we eventually made it to Spot X Surf Camp. Here we had a feast for dinner, and then fun around the campfire. We also booked up all our trips for the rest of our time in OZ - harder than we thought because we had to keep shifting our plans because no buses would run on the day we needed. But eventually we did it, and now have a complete itinerary :)

So surfing was really fun! We were both a lot better than we thought we'd be and both successful cruised some waves ;) boo yeah. Jo ended up with really bruised knees though from landing on her knees when she fell off the board haha.

After the lesson, we continued to Byron Bay. We arrived at Arts Factory Backpackers Lodge, which is a really cool hippy style hostel! We've since done a 14,000ft skydive!!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - such an adrenaline rush - takes a while to recover once you're on flat ground haha. And we've been sunning ourselves on Byron's beautiful beach, before having to head back to the hostel because a massive storm was brewing - didn't quite make it back in time and got totally drenched - major downpour and thunder etc - pretty cool storm!

Sea Kayaking on the agenda tomorrow, so hopefully we'll be cruising along beside dolphins and sea turtles (fingers crossed), and then onwards to Surfers Paradise!
