I am the first student here and seen as it's raining and I am here by myself I am staying at the hotel. I didn't sleep well as the traffic flowed all night and am taking a rest day before we get stuck into the journey. Note to self: sleep with ear plugs.

I left Townsville at 12:35pm Friday 22 September for Manila. This is the first time flying with Air Niugini to Port Moresby with a 3 hour stop over. The flight was pleasant and the sandwich was delicious. The Port Moresby international airport is a modern and well appointed airport that seems to be popular with tourists as a transit hub.
