Alarm went off at 7 ! Had a coffee and went to reception to check out. Got the boat to the marina at 8am then the ferry to Phuket. Just after we left Carl thought we had got on the wrong ferry as it was going the wrong way ! Slight panic but then we realised it met with another ferry to pick some more passengers up then headed the right way. Took 2 hours then we got a mini bus with a very cross driver ! Took an hour to get to our hotel in Nalyang beach resort. Spending one night here then getting plane to Singapore tomorrow, dumped our bags and went for dinner. We both had cheese burger and chips but to be honest it was disgusting! I ate it as was so hungry but god knows what meat it was ! Had a couple of beers to wash it down and went for a walk along the beach. Had a swim then laid on the sand watching the planes come in as close to the airport and the fly over the beach. I remember when we landed here looked like we were landing on the beach
Went to our room had a shower and chilled out then went out at 7 for drinks and dinner. There was a street of restaurants and bars lots serving i Italian meals so we had spaghetti along with a lovely bottle of chianti. Dana phoned whilst we were in restaurant lovely catching up. Do miss the kids whilst we are away. Connor is moving into his new house this weekend we sent a card via moon pig and some flowers. Got back to hotel room around 10.30 had a really good nights sleep the pillows were lovely
