Got the overnight flight from Bali to Adelaide. The flight left 22.40 had arrived 6.35 in the morning but was only 5 hours as Adelaide was 2.5 hours ahead. Managed to doze a little. Had a very rude air hostess ! Was a lot of trouble to give me a glass of water !!!
Sam and Ellie picked us up from the airport showed us around Ellie’s house then we went for coffee and croissant’s. Then they dropped us to our hotel which was lovely room wasn’t ready so went for a walk in the grounds. Some lovely plants and trees and saw two cockatoos. Went into hotel room I finished my book and had a little sleep. Sam picked us up at 3pm and took us to a shopping centre. Bought him some trousers and shirt for his engagement party this coming Saturday. He was tired still recovering from his jet lag. Dropped us back to hotel. We had a couple of drinks in the bar then Carl crashed out! I ordered room service. A chill out evening getting used to time zones. Spoke to Connor he is all settled in his new house. Spoke to Jodie as thinking of her as the anniversary of Mariah passing away so sad. Lots of Christmas trees around and decorated here but doesn’t feel like Christmas needs to be cold. Actually looking forward to getting home and lighting the fire
