Up by 7.30am as we were going on a Jeep safari day. Lovely day all around the island saw a lot and learnt a lot. Went to English harbour and Shirley heights. In the evening met up with Jenn and Gareth for dinner had a lovely curry in a restaurant along the beach. A wonderful day so glad we went on the trip

New Year’s Day . The hotel gave everyone hats to wear. We had a lovely swim in the sea and went out on a hobie cat was good fun and we flew along. Just the 2 of us. Nice way to spend New Year’s Day. Chilling drinking swimming

New Year’s Eve. Woke up had our all inclusive breakfast then a walk along the beach. Rained a few times but very warm. Met up with Jenn and Gareth they have been here for a while and are staying in the next resort. Had a go on a kayak. Rained on and off during the day. In the evening watched fireworks from the beach at our hotel. We were tired so in bed just after midnight

We flew from Gatwick to Antigua and managed to fly first class with virgin thanks to Si. Watched 3 films had some lovely food and drink and also a really good sleep. The flight was 8 hours 20 mins. Went so quickly. Just loved flying first class. Arrived in Antigua around 3pm lovely seeing our the plane on the way in. Took a taxi ride to jolly beach. Couldn’t believe how dark it gets so quickly around 6pm. Checked into our hotel looked like something out the 60...
