Hello! Thought I'd create this so you can keep a check on me....plus I can get to share some of my stories / photos and keep in touch with you too! From Rio to Quito (via southern South America) in a few months! I begin my journey on 15th Jan - when I leave the UK and arrive in Rio for 16th Jan for my 5 week stay as a volunteer preparing for the world renowned Carnival! Yes - I will be there! Fran, Matt, Penny and Dominic Hi Helen. We got the postcard!! Penny has it pinned up on her board and tells everyone 'its Helen's postcard'. The costumes looked amazing!! Keep them postcards coming. Its always so nice to hear from you and for Penny to have something to look at and talk about. I finally leave work in 5 weeks myself. I told Matt I was going to fly out and join you. Holley Excellent read, having been there too Helen, you should be writing for a living......so many talents!!! Oh but one thing you forgot.....the breakout of the fight in the stands!! OMG... yes how could I forget.... though I missed it, but saw the man with the bloody nose.... given I knew something had happened as I got back to you with some water!! I had some chance to sit and write today.... and did so from memory! Forgot about the fight!!! H x :o)
