Hola!!! We are now in Barcelona and really enjoying it!! We came at just the right time as Barcelona won the Champion's League!!! We watched the game in a bar and really enjoyed the atmosphere and tension (I was willing Arsenal to win!). After Barce won everyone went crazy!! There was a big street party and people were climbing up the lamposts and setting off fireworks - a real carnival atmosphere!! The next day we were lucky enough to see the players come back and do their victory cruise by bus through the centre of the city- we got lots of photos!!! Again, the locals went crazy!!! Party-time!!! We also had time to see some really wonderful Gaudi architecture including his park and La Sagrida Familia...totally awe-inspiring!! We ate a wonderful all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet in preparation for our walk starting this weekend!!! We also met our friend Paloma who we'd met in Vietnam- a brill couple of days!!!
