Visited Dove Lake Cradle Mountain NP this morning although the weather was wet and very foggy still a great experience. Had a 2hr walk around the lake lovely water views with all the fog around the mountains. It would be a whole new world on a sunny day so guess we will just have to come back another time! You really need a few days to take it all in. The overland track starts here, for the serious hiker, 65k over to Lake St Clair takes 5-6days. As it has started...

We are at Deloraine today, what a pretty camp we have here at Deloraine Apex CP along the river lots of ducks and swans. Think we should of had a few more days here. Glad we decided to have a stay.. We went back to Westbury where we had morning tea earlier to visit the Steam Museum "Good Ted time" was interesting had a lot of machinery there. Our last day in Launceston so off to the CBD to explore. Lovely old buildings. Another beautiful day sunny 26c.

Today we went to Ben Lomond a very surprising experience. So much rock and a very scary road. Ski resort up the top of Ben Lomond (very high mountain 1500 metres) would not like the experience of travelling the road , Jacobs Ladder, in the snow scary enough in good conditions! We drove up the Tamar Valley this afternoon.

We left Coles Bay for Launceston today stopping at Scottsdale for morningtea. Visited Low Head at George Town very pretty. After we set up at Big 4 Caravan Park we went and explored Cataract Gorge, very nice but not quiet as natural a setting as others we have seen. Lovely picnic area pool and walkways, floods through there quiet often.
