After breakfast we went for a short 11/2 hour walk, thought we might get caught in rain but held off until we got back. Air very crisp. Giant Gum trees. In the afternoon we went to view The Wall art gallery Derwent Bridge.

Traveled to Lake St Clair to-day, had morning tea at Queenstown and had a look around. The hills are very scared from all the copper mining over the years. We stopped off and had a nature walk at Nelson Falls, what a "wow" factor they were just spectacular. We arrived at Lake St Clair after lunch raining so Ted had to set up in the rain, very cold 16c. Rest day washing and tiding up the caravan for our next adventure. This afternoon went for a short walk to the beach next door to the caravan park very pretty views across the water.

We went on a World Heritage Wilderness Gordon River cruise today. Saw fish farms for Atlantic salmon and ocean trout, Sarah Island a convict settlement which was termed as hell on earth eventually turned into one of the biggest ship building yards in Australia with the help of the convicts. Then a short walk through The Gordon River wilderness at Heritage Landing. Then lastly a quick look through Huon Pine sawmill.

Up early today to go on our steam train ride to Queenstown was a nice day very interesting but long just returned at 6pm left at 8.30am.
