We traveled from Moama to Wagga Wagga today having morning tea along the Murray at Barmah NSW very pretty. Had lunch at Tocumwal from then on the scenery was very flate plains like out Moree way.

We went for a drive to Charlotte Pass and Perisher Valley. Saw snow gums, they are a lot different to what I thought, only a small tree with lovely patterns on their trunks and shape. Saw Mt Kosciuszko in the distance about 10k away with walking trails from Charlotte Pass. Also found out the story about all the dead trees, bush fires in 2003. This afternoon we went to the Trout Farm so Ted could get his smoked Trout for afternoon tea.

We set off for Khancoban 2hr drive from Jindabyne and very windy road. Khancoban is a very pretty little village. Then we went for a tour of M2 Power Station very interesting. Sir William Hudson oversaw all the development of the Snowy Mountain Scheme, which took from 1949 -1974. Amazing how they got it all done! On the way home we visited Thredbo Resort quite large. Went On the chair lift to the top of Crackenback Ridge had a late snack at the cafe with lovely v...
