We set off for Khancoban 2hr drive from Jindabyne and very windy road. Khancoban is a very pretty little village.
Then we went for a tour of M2 Power Station very interesting. Sir William Hudson oversaw all the development of the Snowy Mountain Scheme, which took from 1949 -1974. Amazing how they got it all done!
On the way home we visited Thredbo Resort quite large. Went On the chair lift to the top of Crackenback Ridge had a late snack at the cafe with lovely views of the ranges.
There were large patches of dead trees another traveler said the same has happened down at Mt Hotham, otherwise thickly forested with gums.
