So I'm home! It's been five days and already the whole four months seems like some weird dream. It sort of felt like that while I was there really though, like I was just watching someone else jump out of airplanes, swim alongside manta rays and ride motorbikes into Vietnamese sunsets. The last week in Wanaka and Queenstown has been by far the highlight of New Zealand for me, and a pretty awesome end to the travelling adventure. I don't actually remember much of what I've been up to for the last few days, New Zealand has too much to do it's ridiculous! Plus my camera's broken and my brain's dead so I'll just go by the schedule. Next stop after Taupo was River Valley, feels like forever ago that! Things have perked up just a tad over the last few days in New Zealand, since I last wrote I've plunged 15,000 ft out of a plane, climbed up waterfalls in pitch black glow worm caves, dug my own hot pool in the pouring rain on a beach, and raced down a mountain on a luge. It's been a pretty gloomy start to New Zealand so far. If there's anything I've learned about travelling it's that how much fun you have is mostly chosen by things out of your control: the company and the weather. And both have been pretty crap. Plus I think I'm ill. And so I've spent most of the last three days in bed, wild times. So since STA messed up my flights I now only have 24 days to do all of New Zealand, which is a lot better than the 16 days it looked...
