Namaste!

Today after breakfast we headed to Agra. The trip was the usual long drive. About 6 hours to Agra. We took lots of photos of the rambling countryside and it's inhabitants.

We encountered a vehicle accident and our driver decided to avoid it and take a short cut; however, we ran into a bit of trouble. He tried to make a left turn in a small village with very narrow streets. I could not see it, but Hope said that if he tried to back up, the bus would go down into a ditch and we may not be able to get out of it.

The villagers were sooooooooooooo helpful in filling the ditch, so the bus could drive over it.

Meanwhile we all enjoyed the beautiful, smiling and a friendly faces of the villagers. Seems as though everyone came to see us, wave continuously, smile and pose for photos.

We were there about 30 minutes, but were totally entertained by the people there.

We gave our driver a huge round of applause for his driving skills.

Finally we arrived at our hotel, the ITC Mughal. The grounds, entrance and lobby areas were beautiful.
