Deb's Australian Adventure
Hi Everybody! Today was just wonderful. Dubrovnik is a very clean and quiet place. The tourist just poured in here this afternoon. I began my day by walking the walls. I'm not sure how many miles long it is, but it took me about 2-3 hours to walk, but I was also taking a lot of pictures along the way. I talked to me people, then took the bus over to the other side of the city. Didn't see much, but there was some shopping. Caught the bus back into the city. Strolled around. Had some lunch at this restaurant. I ordered a fish sandwich and fries. I had no idea the fish would not be fried and it was cold. To my surprise though, it was really tasty. The fish was extremely small and thin, but they gave you quite a bit on this bun that looked like an 8" layer of cake. The fries were also good, but they didn't drain them. I stopped there because the place was crowded. So I said to myself, "the food must be good." The restrooms were funny here, but I had to learn them quick. You stand on ridged floor pads, spread your legs, with your pants down, aim and fire! I also had to go into the men's room, because the water did not work in the ladies restroom. Everything here was inexpensive, but there were not a lot of choices in clothing here. The perfumes were more than in the states. Anyway just wanted to fill you in on this day in Dubrovnik. I have to be back on the ship by 5 P.M.
