Alyssa and I took the weekend in this "hill station," a city up in the foothills that once was a vacation retreat for the British when they occupied this area of India. Nainital is literally built around Naini lake, seen here from the balcony outside out hotel room. We checked in shortly after we arrived (we took a taxi overnight.) This picture is at about 7:30 AM.
