we are in Alaska! we took the Alaska Marine Highway ferry (with our van below) from Prince Rupert all the way up to here, Skagway. we stopped for a day in Juneau, Alaskas Capital city (wich was as big as busselton) and you can only get there by plane or ferry. we visited the glacier. the ferry trip was absolutly fantstic! we have got lots of photos but here in skagway the internet isnt particully fast!!! Skagway is a lovely little town and,like Banff all the shops buildings are heritage style. all the place needs is a gravel road and some horses in the street and it would look straight out of a western film.

on the ferry we spotted orcas, humpback whales and dolphines. we also spotted a black bear on the way to Prince Rupert on the side of the road.

we will upload the photos in Whitehorse probably tommorrow or the next day; whenever we get there. it doesnt get dark her until 11pm so there is plenty of time for sightseeing!

we are having freshly caught Halibut (the local fish) for dinner, curtisy of a friendly local and are enjoying the abundance of salmon!!!!
