Helen Hi there, wow! you have done some miles in the last 10 days. I loved the G. Canyon when we were there and am sooo envious that you are there without me this time. Are you sure you dont need your Mum? Now....I am a little concerned that you both will visit one of those "chapples of love" in Vegas. Don't you dare. Its too crass for words anyway. Sonia's friend Emma (from Bridgetown) eloped to Vegas (she has married a yank) but her parents are making them have another "proper" wedding on Jan 2. Hope the disparity in wealth of the Vegas crowd does not surprise you too much but you need to see the streets easrly morning so you know both faces of the city. Have fun xxxx

Laurie Hello you two. How are you doing? Did you not get to the polar bears or the other 5 eastern provinces? I thought by your post cards you were going there. Brenda is right Rosetown did want to keep you. The hotel is really busy, we need you back, I'm sure Ivy would have lots of hugs for you if you walked through the door right now. Yesterday we had all 40 rooms to be cleaned and the two young housekeepers didn't show up & left Gloria all by herself. Tim the new maintenance man was working in the bar so Ivy went in & took over from him & he went up & cleaned 6 rooms upstairs. I did laundry for her from 4 til midnight to try & help her out. What a day. I'm sure your Moms & Dads will be reading this so I wanted to let them know also that they raised 2 great kids. Didn't get to know Steven so well but seems to be a real sweetheart. Heather is wonderful to be around--a great person. Are you going to make it back for Xmas? I hope so as I can hardly wait for you to spend some time with your Canadian sisters & Mom.
