Arrived in Lake Tahoe early afternoon. Staying in a log cabin lodge for two nights for a change. We have done a bit of shopping already as I needed to get a warm top as it is slightly nippy here! Snow still on the mountains around us and on the slopes. There is still some on the ground in some places to give you an idea of the temperature! Enjoyed a dip in the hot tub to warm us up. We were the only ones mad enough to have a dip. Went out this evening to a BBQ bar and had the best BBQ ribs and pecan pie in the world. Then we went to an outside bar and had hot apple cider sitting round a big fire pit. Will post photos tommorrow when we have some! Snow forecast for tonight. Also we have a log burning fire in our room how cool. So long for now......
